Our Culture

Red Door launched February 10, 2013. Pastor Zach and Sarah along with a small team moved from Billings, Montana to plant a new church. From day one their hearts have always been to reach those who are messy, overlooked and passed by. Red Door is a real church with real people serving a real God. We worship the one God who meets messy people (all of us) and changes our lives through Jesus. Everything we do is driven by our passion to introduce people to Jesus and together fully follow Him.

Every Good Church Is Messy

No one should be surprised that the church is messy. We commonly forget that it’s made up of sinners — it’s one of the admissions that opens the door in the first place: we are not perfect and never will be in this life. At its best, the church in this age consists of sinners who are sincerely but imperfectly following Christ.

God reaches out and places us in His family. We are joined together with people from all different backgrounds, nationalities, socioeconomic statuses, and spiritual maturity levels. The church’s diversity is a beautiful thing, and part of the beauty is the process of becoming the family of God.

“So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.  Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.” Ephesians 2:19-20 NLT

Loving lovable people is easy. Associating with messy people in messy situations will always make us marvel at the love of Christ. It forces us to grow in knowing and sharing that love. In the mess, we will find beautiful displays of forgiveness, compassion, humility, and reconciliation. These never would have been seen apart from the mess. This is the church!

We embrace messy and invite you to belong to our messy family!
