EVERY GOOD CHURCH IS MESSY

No one should be surprised that the church is messy. We commonly forget that it’s made up of sinners — it’s one of the admissions that opens the door in the first place: we are not perfect and never will be in this life. At its best, the church in this age consists of sinners who are sincerely but imperfectly following Christ.

God reaches out and places us in His family. We are joined together with people from all different backgrounds, nationalities, socioeconomic statuses, and spiritual maturity levels. The church’s diversity is a beautiful thing, and part of the beauty is the process of becoming the family of God.

“So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family.  Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.” Ephesians 2:19-20 NLT

Loving lovable people is easy. Associating with messy people in messy situations will always make us marvel at the love of Christ. It forces us to grow in knowing and sharing that love. In the mess, we will find beautiful displays of forgiveness, compassion, humility, and reconciliation. These never would have been seen apart from the mess. This is the church!

SUNDAYS

Sunday gatherings at Red Door are about 60 minutes in length. Our Sunday gatherings typically look like this:

  • We start with worship through singing. Lyrics are projected on a screen - feel free to join in.

  • Someone will get up and share a quick welcome and any important things coming up.

  • Our pastor will share a teaching from the bible. Watch/Listen to past sermons →

  • We end our gathering with responding to the word of God and the message by: singing, receiving communion, giving, and praying for one another.

  • Someone will get up and share a few next steps for those who are new to our church.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

Our kids ministry is available during our gatherings for infants–5th Grade. Upon arriving, head to the main entrance and you will see a Kids Check-in Station. Don’t worry we'll happily show you how to check in your child. If this is your first time checking in your child, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get all set up.

WHAT ABOUT PARKING?

We have a dedicated parking lot along the south side of the building, along with an entrance off the parking lot.
